Assembly Overview

We’re excited to welcome middle school students (grades 6-8) across Rhode Island to represent their schools and communities at this year’s assembly:

Middle School Intent Form

The conference is free to all delegates from schools with an adult who has completed the easily attainable Civic Health Champion certification, which we are happy to assist with. Otherwise, the cost is $25 per student, though there is ample financial aid. The cost covers lunch at the conference, materials, and a shirt. 

Program Areas & Roles

All students will serve in our legislative program (House & Senate) as Representatives or Senators, with the opportunity to research and write a bill on a state policy issue of their choice, which will they will present and debate during the assembly.
