YMCA of the USA is now accepting applications for the 2024 Youth Advocate Program during YMCA National Advocacy Days in Washington, D.C. Applications are due on Friday, September 29th.

May marks the start of the Washington State YMCA Youth Legislature. For four exciting days, teenagers take over the state Capitol campus in Olympia and simulate what it’s like to be involved in our government.

This partnership will provide support to implement the Youth and Government® program in 10 states and the District of Columbia, helping shape the next generation of thoughtful, committed and active citizens.

New York Lt. Governor Antonio Delgado met with students participating in the annual New York YMCA Youth and Government Youth Assembly at the Crown Plaza Desmond Hotel in Albany.
